Warehouse Operative – Alton Towers Resort

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team at Alton Towers Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering all the resort’s food and merchandise, as well as picking stock and checking off goods in. You will need to be well-organised and able to use your own initiative in this hands-on role to help keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Delivery: Deliver food and merchandise throughout the resort, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to various locations.
  • Picking Stock: Efficiently pick and prepare stock for delivery, ensuring all items are accurately accounted for.
  • Goods Checking: Check off goods received into the warehouse, ensuring that all deliveries are accurate and in good condition.
  • Stock Control: Assist with inventory control by maintaining accurate records of stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations and support during busy periods.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Organisational Skills: Strong ** organisational skills** with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative: Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and make decisions on the spot.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse or driving vehicles is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and effectively as part of the role.
  • Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak times as required.

Pay Range

Compensation between £8.10/Hr – £12.81/Hr.
