Summary

At Lidl, our warehouses are the backbone of our business, helping our stores run smoothly. As a Warehouse Cleaner, you’ll be a vital part of our team – ensuring our warehouse is spotless throughout the day. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
You’ll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you’ll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy – from the loading bays to the car parks.
In return, we’ll give you a competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside Lidl.

What you'll do
- Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
- Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
- Ensuring ‘clean as you go’ stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
- Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
- Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
- Confidently operate cleaning machinery
- Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times
What you'll need
- Have a keen eye and attention to detail
- Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)
- Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles
- Follow internal guidelines and standards
- Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking) if necessary

*Max. rate includes £1.50 extra per hour for hours worked in the freezer and £3.50 extra per hour for hours worked between 23.00 - 05.00.
