This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly exceptional warehousing and logistics provider at a key time in their growth. Our client supplies a range of warehousing and distribution services to many household name, blue chip companies in the retail, hospitality and banking sectors. They have recently moved into a purpose built, state of the art facility that substantially increases and enhances their ability to deliver service excellence to both their existing and future customers.
The Role
The Warehouse Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving commercial performance for the warehouse operation across all sites. This role focuses on developing profitable customer relationships, managing warehouse pricing and contracts, overseeing all invoicing and debt management, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring that warehouse services are delivered in a cost-effective and sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies to improve revenue, margin and customer retention
- Monitoring market trends, pricing and industry developments within the warehouse sector
- Identifying opportunities to expand services and customer base
- Preparing warehouse pricing models for new and existing customers
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships
- Monitoring contract profitability and revenue performance
- Reporting weekly P&L performance and KPI data for all warehouse operations
- Working with operational teams to analyse warehouse margins, cost drivers and profitability by project or customer
- Producing regular commercial performance reports for senior management
- Maintaining accurate CRM and pricing data
