Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts
As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring stock meets sales targets and operational functions run smoothly.
Main Duties
- Manage the organisation and performance of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Accurately pick and load vans/carriers for timely customer delivery as required
- Verify stock quantities match computer records
- Apply personal judgment and initiative to solve challenges and obstacles constructively
- Maintain the operational efficiency of the warehouse, assisting with:
- Holidays/sickness cover
- Preparing weekly plans
- Developing the warehouse team
- Collaborating with drivers to ensure best-in-class delivery service
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment where employees can thrive

Working hours: Average of 45 hours per week (Mon-Fri, incl. alternate Saturdays)
About the Role
Ideally, you will have a strong management background in warehousing, particularly within a fast-paced environment, such as FMCG.
Requirements
To succeed, you’ll need:
- Leadership ability to motivate and manage a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- A customer and sales-driven mindset
- Previous experience with MAN (Material Assessment Systems) is desirable but not mandatory
