GSF Car Parts – Warehouse Controller Position
Warehouse Controller
As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure smooth operations, efficient stock management, and timely customer deliveries while aligning with sales budgets.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Management
- Lead, organise, and monitor staff performance to ensure seamless execution of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments.
- Maintain accurate stock records by verifying quantities against computer records.

Delivery & Logistics
- Accurately pick and load vehicles/carriers, ensuring on-time deliveries for customers.
- Coordinate with Drivers to optimise delivery services and meet customer expectations.

Team & Resource Coordination
- Support Branch Manager in managing holidays/sickness cover and developing weekly operational plans.
- Foster a positive and constructive team culture, encouraging employee growth and performance.
- Use judgment and initiative to resolve operational challenges and drive efficiency.
About the Role
The Warehouse Controller plays a critical role in maintaining economic workflow in fast-paced, distributed warehouse environments—ideal candidates will have experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or similar high-volume environments.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to guide a team of Warehouse Operatives effectively.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Clear, professional interaction with staff and stakeholders.
- Organisational & Planning Abilities: Maintain workflow, deadlines, and system accuracy.
- Customer Service Orientation: Align warehouse operations with sales and customer delivery priorities.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Work efficiently under pressure to resolve challenges quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mobile Asset Management (MAM) Systems Experience – Not compulsory but beneficial for streamlined operations.
Working Arrangements
Average Weekly Hours: 45 hours per week (Mondays-Fridays) Flexibility: Includes alternate Saturday shifts as required.
