Here at IDS (a Revvity company) we are currently looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is Monday-Friday "days". IDS are the leading in-vitro diagnostic solution provider to the clinical and research laboratory markets. With over 30 years of expertise, we develop (in-house), manufacture and market innovative and high-quality immunoassays and instruments.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform duties in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, by way of good planning and organisation of department workload
  • Packing/dispatch of products in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, in a timely manner, to schedule
  • Protection of products/materials against spoilage/deterioration
  • Receipting of incoming deliveries
  • Liaison with drivers, ensuring correct goods are handed over
  • Maintenance/development of Quality System (ISO 9000/cGMP)
  • Liaison with other departments
  • Handling and disposing of waste products in line with company practices
  • Replenishment of stock to appropriate departments (SIRF)
  • Stock control of products required for special shipping i.e. Dry Ice
  • Safe disposal of expired finished goods kits
  • Good housekeeping
  • Regular cycle counts
  • Other ancillary duties

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level in Maths, English and Science
  • Fork truck license

Skills & Knowledge

  • A knowledge of Warehouse functions, material control, packing and despatch
  • A knowledge of Syteline an advantage
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft packages with good computer and keyboard skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a departmental or cross-functional team
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills
  • Flexible approach to work requirements

  • 1 year experience working in a similar environment
  • Word, Excel, Outlook and Operational Databases
