Pacifica - Warehouse Department Lead
Location: Washington, England
Salary: £27,885 per annum | Hours: 37.5 per week
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
Pacifica is seeking an experienced Warehouse Department Lead to join our national distribution operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and develop our warehouse team while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the management and leadership of the warehouse, maintaining the highest standards through collaboration with senior operational management.
- Contribute to the effective handling, storage, distribution, and management of spare parts at our national warehouse.
- Plan, organise, and control resources and activities to achieve company site objectives and targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, and take shared responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Train, monitor, and induct staff in standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
- Oversee continuous improvement projects to enhance customer experience and support business growth.
- Drive high standards within the warehouse and promote a culture of excellence across all departments.
- Manage day-to-day communications, employee engagement, and performance within the operation.
- Support site H&S and Fire Safety procedures, ISO audits, COSHH, equipment audits, and maintain related documentation.
- Complete assigned training and development via Pacifica's Learning Hub.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by Site Warehouse Managers.

General Requirements
- Computer literate
- Satisfactory DBS
- Flexibility to work hours as required by the business
Experience And Skills
- Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse and distribution environment
- Health and safety qualifications, or willingness to work towards them
- Willingness to pursue other relevant qualifications as required
- Understanding of quality control measures and procedures
- Professional and approachable in dealing with employees and operational issues
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
