We’re looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Sainsbury’s team at our site in Langland’s Park, East Kilbride. You will be responsible for managing and leading your own team, helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full-time, permanent basis, working an any 5 days from 7 shift pattern, 13:30 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,675.50 and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). - To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
- Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
- Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
- Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience of managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
