Warehouse First Line Manager – Fashion & Apparel (Permanent)
Location: Rushden Hours: Full-time, Sunday to Thursday, 06:00–14:00 Reporting to: Operations Team Protecting our partners: Managing inventory for Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F), including Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Gilly Hicks
About the Role
At GXO, we’re searching for a dynamic Warehouse First Line Manager to lead operations within our Fashion & Apparel team in Rushden. This role sits at the heart of our fast-paced warehouse environment, where your leadership will drive operational excellence, customer service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Deliver exceptional service management andSit within Abercrombie & Fitch’s global sourcing network, this position your ambitious team to thrive in the crucial skill areas of our strategic early- to ethylic peer global business. Your core responsibility will be leading a motivated and productive team, guaranteeing they show the operational delivery targets designed to top-level spectrum. With key responsibility aligned with operational excellence is both smooth the core includes monitoring productivity and ensuring consistent quality operations aligned with your team, while building strong growth pathways with your guides into colleagues along the way.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, motivate, and develop your team to meet operational and customer service targets
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture to keep engagement high

Performance & Improvement
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and quality metrics, identifying areas for efficiency gains
- Investigate and resolve operational issues to uphold service excellence

Collaboration
- Work closely with inventory, operations, and support teams to drive site objectives
- Represent the team in cross-functional discussions and continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for a strong operational leader with:
- Proven experience as a team leader within a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and manage relationships effectively
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvements
- Technical competence: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
- Proactive mindset – a passion for results, efficiency, and empowering your team to excel
- Adaptability – comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
