Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with an established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and working collaboratively across the wider business.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the logistics function by driving continuous improvement, strengthening supplier relationships and delivering an outstanding service to customers. You'll join a business that is investing in its operations and values practical ideas that make a measurable difference.
The Opportunity:
As a Warehouse & Logistics Manager you'll play a key role in:
- Taking ownership of all inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure products are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Managing third party logistics providers and holding suppliers accountable against agreed service levels.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to improve communication and operational performance.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, reduce costs and improve customer experience.
- Reviewing logistics performance, analysing data and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, lead times and service levels.
- Supporting the implementation of integrated logistics systems and processes as the business continues to develop its operational capability.
- Taking ownership of warehousing and fulfilment to ensure smooth dispatch, pick, pack and distribution activities.

About You:
We're looking for someone who can bring:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse & Logistics Management position.
- A strong logistics, supply chain or distribution background within manufacturing or a related industry.
- Experience managing third party logistics providers and supplier performance.
- A data-driven and analytical approach with the ability to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence positive change.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A hands on approach and willingness to support operational activities.
- Experience with ERP or logistics systems would be advantageous.
- Experience of warehouse management, fulfilment or dispatch operations would also be beneficial.
