Permanent – Full time – Salary: £27,000- £29,000 – Location: Newport

About the role

We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Operative – Aviation to join our team in Newport. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely order processing. If you possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Handling customer requests for materials, sales, and exchange inquiries
  • Meeting AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Preparing orders for shipment to vendors and customers
  • Coordinating deliveries with couriers for expedited service
  • Performing data entry using Quantum system
  • Maintaining an organized filing system
  • Receiving materials from suppliers and conduct quality control inspections
  • Handling and store aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices
  • Addressing queries and manage rejected parts
  • Packing parts for domestic or export dispatch
  • Maintaining shipping documentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth company operations
  • Performing other reasonable tasks as needed.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Passion for learning and proactive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license beneficial
  • Familiarity with Quantum Inventory system beneficial
  • Forklift truck license desirable
  • Hazardous Goods in Transit certificate advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
