This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00, with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual up to £32,200.00, depending on skills and experience.
Main purpose of job:
- To provide everyday maintenance to maintain and improve company assets
- To ensure site / equipment is compliant with legal obligations and in line with Bleckmann and customer requirements
- Ensuring compliancy from Health and Safety rules and regulations
- To provide a cost saving alternatives to undertake minor on-site repairs within a required skill set
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Working closely with all areas of the business, the role holder will conduct the following:
- Weekly Testing and recording across dual sites
- Planned maintenance activities including the Sprinkler system, Water flushing, Emergency & Internal lighting, fire alarm, sanitary ware, disabled refuge and any other activities as requested.
- Carry out Minor Repairs, and follow schedule outlined on the reporting tool by shift managers and Ops (Kitchen, Bathroom leaks/plumbing, painting, and general property including external repairs)
- Meet and Greet for contractors regarding Planned Preventative Maintenance, providing access, induction, permit, sign in, monitor visit, sign off works
- Work with Facilities Coordinator & H&S to ensure PTW, RAMS and INS supplies pre visit
- Assist with internal projects – Project Manager (New clients build) Tracking tool for end-to-end visibility
- Respond to emergency repairs, element of ownership when prioritising tasks whilst reporting interruptions or concerns for Business Continuity Plan – document these repairs
- Utility Monitoring, monthly tracking to support finance/charges
- Identify and report cost saving initiatives when completing maintenance repairs to FM
- Regularly audit tool kit and stock take on small consumables needed to support role
- Member of H&S committee (attend monthly meeting)
- Member of Facilities committee (attend fortnightly meeting)

Candidates must have a driving licence to cover dual sites
Profile:
- Training - Electrical safety certificate, water hygiene
- Working at height (MEWP licence and MHE)
- Experience in refurbishment, and repair work.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation, CAMS systems and Statutory compliance
