Who We Are:
At Agile Retail, we operate stores, build brands and support some of the world's most recognisable retail businesses. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently.
This is not a traditional warehouse management role. No two days are the same and the right person will thrive in a fast-paced environment where leadership, ownership, problem solving and operational excellence genuinely matter.
Warehouse Manager Role:
- Own the day-to-day performance of the warehouse, ensuring stock flows efficiently through the operation whilst maintaining exceptional standards of safety, service and accuracy.
- Own the day-to-day warehouse operation across goods-in, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs including productivity, stock accuracy, service levels, safety and operational costs.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve operational delivery.
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse colleagues, supervisors and team leaders.
- Plan labour, shift patterns and workloads to meet operational demand.
- Maintain high levels of stock integrity through inventory control, cycle counts and investigations.
- Resolve warehouse issues quickly whilst taking ownership through to completion.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies and warehouse standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes, systems and ways of working.
- Support the ongoing development of warehouse standards and operational best practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
