Warehouse Operations Manager

Location: Erith

Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

About the Role

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a growing industrial business to recruit a Warehouse Operations Manager for a key leadership role within its expanding UK operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business backed by a major global organisation, with significant investment and ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll take responsibility for leading operational performance during a key period of transition, supporting the successful relocation of operations while maintaining service, safety, and customer performance.

Working across multiple locations during the transition, you'll collaborate with operational, transport, and planning teams to ensure a seamless move, embed consistent ways of working, and help build a scalable operation for future growth.

Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Manager include:

  • Leading day-to-day warehouse operations across a changing operational landscape
  • Supporting the successful transition of operations into a new distribution facility
  • Driving consistency, operational standards, and best practice across multiple sites
  • Leading process improvements and supporting the implementation of more efficient warehouse systems and ways of working
  • Working cross-functionally to maintain customer service throughout periods of operational change
  • Managing performance, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment
  • Acting as a visible, hands-on leader, building engagement and maintaining momentum throughout the transition

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, or Site Leadership role within warehousing or distribution
  • Experience leading operational change, site relocations, business transformation, or multi-site operations
  • A background within industrial distribution, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style with the confidence to make decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to balance operational delivery with long-term improvement
