Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Enfield, supporting our customer Iceland. Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of warehousing logistics across Freezer, Chill, and Ambient environments while ensuring safe, compliance, and efficient operations delivering outstanding service levels.
Pay, Benefits, and More:
- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £80,000.00 per annum, depending on experience, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:
- Daily oversight and direction of the 3 chambers of the warehouse logistics operation across the Enfield Iceland site, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and food standards
- Ensure rigorous adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols required for temperature-controlled operations
- Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards
- Manage team scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization across the temperature-controlled environments
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of warehouse colleagues and management teams

What You Need to Succeed at GXO:
- Recognised industry certifications (e.g., IOSH, HACCP, CPC, Six Sigma, etc.) are desirable, but training can be given
- Significant experience in multi-temperature logistics/warehousing within FMCG and/or food distribution
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience leading teams in challenging temperature-controlled environments
- Willingness to work variable shifts and provide on-site leadership as needed
