The Role
Position: Warehouse Operations Manager (PM Shift, 12:00-20:00) – 3PL Contract Logistics
Location: Derbyshire Facility: Multi-user, open & closed-book warehouse with 250,000+ sq. ft.
This is a critical opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to drive a fast-paced warehouse operation while contributing to a rapidly growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting Line: Reports to the Site Assistant General Manager
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead strategic direction for warehousing, distribution, operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and project execution
- Team Management:
- Direct up to 150+ employees and develop a high-performance operational team
- Client Relationships:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Performance Metrics:
- Continuously analyse and refine KPI-driven approaches
- Ensure operational standardisation across the site
- Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Process Optimisation:
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Essential Requirements:
- A strong logistics, distribution, and supply chain background
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an Operations Manager / Senior Shift Operations Manager
- Proven 3PL multi-user operations experience
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience managing teams of over 100 employees
- A passion for growth challenges and a drive for continuous improvement
- Commutable to Derbyshire (5 days/week)
The Package
- Salary: £48,000 – £52,000
