The Role
As a Warehouse Operative in Altens, your key responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders while maintaining high standards within the warehouse
- Unpacking and storing deliveries, dealing with heavy items (e.g., boilers, sinks, radiators, toilets)
- Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their needs and offering product recommendations
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email, demonstrating a proactive and courteous approach

This is a full-time, permanent position spanning 42.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- 1 roofted Saturday per month: 09:00 – 13:00
Requirements
To thrive in this role, we're looking for:
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Face-to-face sales or customer service experience
- Ability to undertake the necessary training for the position
