Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Rate & Contract Details
- Day Rate (Between 6:00am – 10:00pm):* £12.99 – £13.30 (+11% recruitment uplift)
- Night Rate (Between 10:00pm – 6:00am):* £15.58 – £15.89

Available Contract Types: Permanent Contract Shifts:
- Sun–Tues/Sun–Wed: 06:00–18:00
- Wed–Sat/Thurs–Sat: 06:00–18:00
- Mon–Fri: 09:30–14:30
3 Month Temp Contract Shifts:
- Sun–Tues/Sun–Wed: 06:00–18:00
- Wed–Sat/Thurs–Sat: 06:00–18:00
About the Role
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Sorting parcels from sacks (customer orders)
- Loading & unloading stock from vans/trailers
- Picking, hanging & scanning stock to pallet labels
- Sorting customer orders & retail stock
Key Requirements for the Role: We’re looking for a dedicated team player who can:
- Handle manual labour, heavy lifting, and operate pump trucks/other MHE (Machine Handling Equipment*)
- Follow health & safety protocols strictly
- Work efficiently and neatly, adopting a "tidy as you go" approach
- Move quickly, think independently, and meet time-sensitive targets
- Demonstrate excellent communication & teamwork abilities
- Maintain focus & precision—whether walking/wheel-like movement or working steadily
- Show attention to detail in handling stock & orders
