AES Smart is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our growing team based in Dartford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a well-established company that continues to expand, with the potential for a long-term career path for someone who excels in the role.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 15:30

The role will include:

  • Picking and preparing orders for engineers.
  • Loading and unloading delivery lorries and vans, both manually and using a forklift truck.
  • Liaising with engineers by phone and face-to-face.
  • Scanning stock in and out of the warehouse, including deliveries, orders and returned assets.
  • Using IT systems, stock control systems and our business management portal.
  • Managing stock levels and placing weekly orders to maintain availability.
  • Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider warehouse team.
  • Delivering stock to off-site locations across the country.
  • Assisting with housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
  • Completing overtime when required, including occasional evenings or weekends.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A reliable, honest and professional approach.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to manage stock accurately.
  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential).
  • A current Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience using IT systems, Excel and stock control systems (highly advantageous).
  • The ability to carry out manual handling tasks as required.
