Location: Port of Tilbury
Hours: 4 on / 4 off rotation shifts including weekend 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am
Compensation: £32,639 + Shift Allowance £2,623

About The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse operation. Responsible for a full range of warehousing duties, you will support the end-to-end handling of palletised products, from unloading inbound deliveries through to storage, order picking, and loading outbound vehicles.
Working as part of a fast-paced team, you will ensure all stock is handled safely, accurately, and in line with company procedures. This role requires a strong focus on health and safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet operational deadlines and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading, storing, picking and loading palletised soft drinks 24/7 for retail warehouse distribution centres
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Manager or Supervisors
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner

Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1 year Fork Lift truck experience
- Previous experience in a similar role (VNA retail warehouse distribution centre)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Maintain exceptional health and safety standards
- Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK
- Full right to work in the UK
