Warehouse Operatives – Huel Contract (Wellingborough, NN8 6XX)
At GXO Logistics, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to support our team on the Huel contract, based at our Wellingborough site (NN8 6XX).
Role Overview
You’ll be working on an hourly rate, full-time, permanent basis within one of the following shifts:
- AM – Monday-Friday 06:00–14:00
- PM – Monday-Friday 14:00–22:00
- AM – Tuesday-Friday 06:00–14:00 (including early Saturday shifts 09:00–17:00)
Hours per week: 37.5 or 40 (dependent on shift selection).

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Picking, packing, and replenishing stock
- Pallet cage marshalling and loading (pallets/cages)
- Rework/co-packing, hygiene tasks, and improvements (5S, continuous improvement)
- Working with products ranging from 2kg–20kg, requiring prolonged periods on your feet (8 hours/day) with task rotation for manual handling
- Operating WMS systems (DLx), RF devices, Pro Glove, and pick-to-light systems
Requirements & Benefits
Preferred:
- MHE licenses (Pallet Transporter, Reach Truck, Counterbalance Forklift)
- Strong IT skills, particularly experience with WMS/ERP systems, ideally Red Prairie
- Ability to work safely in a dynamic warehouse environment
