YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics are seeking a Warehouse Operative to play a vital role within our Hams Hall operation, supporting the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods across a busy shared-user warehouse environment. Working as part of the operational team, you will ensure products are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and on time, helping to deliver a world-class service to customers across automotive and industrial sectors.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support a wide range of warehouse activities, including:
- Unloading vehicles
- Putting stock away
- Picking and assembling customer orders
- Checking products
- Marshalling loads
- Loading vehicles for dispatch
You will work across multiple operational areas and undertake training to become multi-skilled, providing flexibility and resilience across the operation. This will include supporting automotive sequencing activities, industrial product handling, stock checks, and other warehouse processes as required.
- Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work, maintaining a strong focus on health and safety while reporting any hazards or unsafe practices.
- Work to established productivity and accuracy targets, helping to maintain high service levels for all customers while contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, ensuring warehouse and yard areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with operational standards.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment and be comfortable working within a fast-paced operational setting.
- Physical fitness and capability of performing manual handling activities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills across different operational areas.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- The ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently.
- A forklift truck (FLT) licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training and development opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
