Join us as a Warehouse Operative supporting Amazon in Avonmouth, where you’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-performing environment. As a key member of the MHE team, you’ll help keep a global logistics network running efficiently.

Some roles - especially HLOP - require working at height. Full training and safety equipment are provided, with support to ensure you feel confident and safe.

Role details

This is a full-time, permanent role on a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern (06:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00). You’ll also benefit from 25 Saturdays, 26 Sundays, and 17 full weekends off each year.

What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Operate a range of MHE, including HLOP, VNA, Reach Truck and Counterbalance, to keep our warehouse running smoothly
  • Support a range of warehouse activities, including picking, despatching customer orders, and loading/unloading trailers
  • Champion a safety-first culture by following all health and safety procedures and promoting best practice across the warehouse

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, ideally with MHE such as HLOP, VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance
  • A strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow all health & safety procedures
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-performing operational setting
  • Great teamwork skills and the ability to support colleagues across different warehouse tasks
  • Reliability, a positive attitude, and the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy logistics operation
