Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative (Export Operations) – Full-Time
At Avantor, based at our Lutterworth site, we’re seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic Export Operations team. In this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for transporting and delivering chemical goods globally via air, road, and sea freight—supporting our customers worldwide while collaborating in a smaller, agile team of four.
About the Role
As an integral part of avantor's global team, your key focus will be on picking, packing, shipment management, and stock control. If you thrive as a ** flexible team player** with practical experience in warehouse operations—especially in logistics, goods out, dispatch, or inventory management, let’s connect.
You’ll perform essential tasks such as:
- Transporting and distributing chemical goods via a range of freight methods.
- Adhering to safety protocols and compliance standards in export operations.
- Performing basic warehouse duties, including handling material movement, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining associated records.
- Assisting with inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supporting stock control, organisation, and efficient workflows.
- Undertaking any additional relevant duties to support the operational team.

What We’re Looking For
Your ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, goods out, dispatch, and stock control.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability, dependability, and the ability to self-motivate.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical robustness, with the ability to meet daily job demands.
- A positive attitude, energy, and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed.
- Team player mindset, with an ability to fit into a collaborative environment.
- FLT Counter Balance license is highly desirable but not essential.
