Our client, a well-established and successful business based in the Newton Abbot area, is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation and safety.
Please note: This role is physically demanding and involves heavy lifting for the majority of the working day. It is therefore not suitable for candidates seeking light-duty warehouse work, and applicants must be comfortable carrying out regular manual handling tasks.

- Pick customer orders accurately and place them in the correct areas ready for delivery.
- Ensure all stock is stored in the correct warehouse locations.
- Safely carry out heavy lifting and manual handling duties throughout the working day.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues promptly to your Supervisor or the Stock Control Team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
