We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with stores experience to join a busy manufacturing business in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous stores, warehouse, or inventory management experience looking for a long-term role with an early finish and overtime available.

Warehouse Operative Duties

  • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
  • Booking goods in and out using computerized stock systems
  • Managing components, kits, and finished products within the stores department
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and reconciliations
  • Packing and dispatching completed customer orders
  • Ensuring stock movements are accurately recorded at all times
  • Supporting on-time delivery of customer orders
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential
  • Inventory management or stock control experience is highly desirable
  • Strong computer and administration skills
  • Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems would be advantageous
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
