Warehouse Operative – Temporary Role
About the Role
FJA (Finlay Jude Associates Ltd) are recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a leading national contractor. You will support daily warehouse operations, including:
- Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods
- Possibility to transition into a permanent role for deserving candidates
This is a temporary position with the opportunity for long-term growth within the organisation.
Key Commitments
- Availability for alternate weekend shifts
- Initial interviews begin w/c 9th March, with a start date of 30th March
Responsibilities
- Order Processing & Accuracy
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with exceptional precision
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Assist with additional warehouse duties (e.g., receiving, restocking)
- Technology Familiarity
- Work with computer-based systems (basic IT skills required)
- Operate handheld scanners (handheld device experience preferred)
- Quality & Compliance
- Identify errors or anomalies to ensure data accuracy
- Exercise strong attention to detail

Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Warehouse familiarity (previous experience preferred)
- Attention to detail and strong time management
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy (berry proficiency in office software and inventory systems)
- Demonstrable work ethic and motivation to progress
Logistical Requirements
- Availability for flexible weekend shifts
- Willingness to adapt to workload demands
