About the Role
At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.
Main Duties Include
- Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
- Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
- Ensuring stock quantities are correct against the computer and verifying stock is stored in the allocated bin locations
Working Hours
41 hours (average) Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working
About You
What You’ll Need:
- A great track record working in a fast-paced warehouse, or similar environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A good team player
- Efficiency with good attention to detail
- Understanding of the necessity of customer service and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
