Summary
The Warehouse Operative supports the efficient day-to-day operation of the Parts Department by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of parts and materials. The role is responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, supporting internal service teams and customers, and contributing to a safe, organised, and customer-focused warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support courier collections and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor shared inboxes and respond promptly to customer queries regarding order status and delivery updates.
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts for service requirements and counter sales.
- Receive, check, and book stock into the system accurately.
- Store Trane and third-party stock in the correct warehouse locations.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and system updates.
- Prepare shipment documentation, pallet information, and tracking details as required.
- Support parts collections and coordinate picking activities for Service Technicians.
- File relevant delivery and shipment documentation in SharePoint and other business systems.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouse and parts area.
- Follow all Environment, Health and Safety policies, procedures, and site standards.
- Contribute to teamwork, continuous improvement, and high standards of customer service.

Qualifications And Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parts environment is preferred.
- Forklift truck license is advantageous; training can be provided if required.
- Awareness of Health and Safety practices in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Full, clean UK driving license required.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse or business systems.
