Warehouse Operative – Forbo Flooring Systems (Blackburn)
About the Role
The Flooring Systems division at Forbo manufactures and supplies a diverse range of sustainable flooring solutions, including:
- Natural linoleum (world leader with 70% market share)
- Premium vinyl floors
- Entrance matting systems (for shoe cleaning/drying)
- Carpet tiles & needle felt
- Flotex (washable high-tech textile flooring)
- Specialist adhesives (floor coverings, parquet & tiles)
- Leveling compounds (Eurocol for construction)
- Liquid floors
Our products are trusted by public buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, commercial spaces, leisure centres, retail, hotels, and residential markets.

We’re seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to join our new team at Forbo’s Blackburn Warehouse (Frontier Park)—contributing to customer fulfilment success.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative with:
- Previous experience in warehouse/manufacturing environments
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety (H&S) protocols
- FLT (Forklift Truck) or counterbalance forklift experience (preferred)
- Understanding of core warehouse processes (pick, pack, stock management)
- Engaging teamwork skills with the ability to support colleagues
- Proactive mindset—can use initiative independently
- Flexible attitude to handle varied responsibilities

Job Details
- Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (Forbo’s Frontier Park Warehouse)
- Shifts: Weekly rotation—rotating early, late, and night shifts:
- 6am – 2pm
- 10am – 6pm
- 2pm – 10pm
