**Warehouse Operative – Permanent Position, **4on 4off Shifts
Location: Bridgwater (Showground Road) Depot Salary: £29,972.54 per annum Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

At Langdons, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative in our Bridgwater depot. In this active and varied role, you’ll undertake Warehouse-related duties in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for:
- Checking and receiving loads, ensuring correct packaging and labelling
- Securing stock to comply with food safety standards
- Operating mechanical handling equipment to store and transport goods safely
- Assisting with load assembly for despatch
- Conducting quality checks to meet hygiene standards
- Identifying and controlling hazards for a safe working environment

** Requirements & Qualifications**
To excel in this role, we’re looking for:
- Up-to-date licence to operate designated mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to compile, analyse, and interpret data
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse, food safety, and health & safety procedures
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Warehouse experience (preferred, but not always essential)
- Strong arithmetic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
- Highly organised with good time management
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Agile problem solver who can adapt to changing priorities
