About The Role
We're looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our distribution team based at our Glenbervie site and help keep our fast-moving operation running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a supportive team, working under an experienced Shift Team Leader.
Working shift pattern is a rotation of early (06:00 to 14:00) and lates (13:45-21:45) on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, pack, and load orders accurately according to specified schedules and procedures
- Ensure all products are stored correctly, labelled accurately, and maintained in optimal conditions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to the 'clean as you go' policy
- Use mechanical handling equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate the movement of stock
- Assist with regular stock checks and audits as required and report any discrepancies
- Following strict allergen-control and food-safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve operational targets
- Apply a strong attention to detail to ensure products are picked, packed and checked accurately, meeting quality standards and customer requirements

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar warehouse role is advantageous but not required
- FMCG experience preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable with manual and physically demanding work
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
- Comfortable using computer systems for tracking inventory and processing orders
- Forklift truck experience/licence would be advantageous
Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to processes precisely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also being capable of working independently
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A positive and proactive attitude towards all challenges
Knowledge:
- Understanding of health & safety standards within a warehouse environment
