Warehouse Operatives – Distribution of Sporting Shirts and Goods
About the Role
Kingdom People are recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Middleton, Manchester (M24 2FL). The client operates as a leading e-commerce warehouse specialising in the distribution of sporting shirts and goods.
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Shift variations: Any 4 days out of 7
- Hours: 10.5-hour shifts, typical timing:
- 08:00–18:30 (rotate throughout the week)
- Pay structure:
- £12.71/hour for the first 12 weeks
- £13.80/hour after completion of the 12-week induction period
- Overtime paid at 1.5x the hourly rate
- Opportunities: Temporary to permanent roles available

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the following core tasks (note: this list may evolve but forms the primary focus):
- Product verification: Ensuring products match their packaging
- Packing processes: Utilising hand scanners for accurate inventory
- Picking operations: Locating and retrieving sport shirts from assigned areas
- Adherence to procedures: Following all site rules and protocols
- Documentation: Completing relevant paperwork if required
- Quality control: Inspecting goods for quality standards
- Issue reporting: Notifying team leaders of any concerns
- Note: Manual handling is required

Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Shift commitment: Ability to consistently work 10.5-hour shifts
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is desirable (not essential but preferred)
- Location access: Must be able to commute to Middleton (M24 2FL)
- Language skills: Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Attitude: Willingness to learn, adapt, and commit
