Warehouse Operative (3 Month Temporary Contract)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary - 3 Months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a facilities services provider operating on-site within a large manufacturing environment in Hull.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised individual to become part of a busy stores and warehouse team, supporting the smooth operation of production by ensuring materials and consumables are available when needed.
Working Monday to Friday on day shifts, you will play a key role in managing stock, processing deliveries, picking and issuing products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and issuing products in line with customer and production requirements.
- Delivering materials and consumables to designated locations across the site.
- Receiving, checking and booking in goods deliveries.
- Putting stock away safely and accurately.
- Conducting stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment activities.
- Supporting the ordering process by identifying demand trends and anticipating peak requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensuring all warehouse activities comply with company health and safety procedures.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure service levels are maintained.

What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, stores or stock control experience.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using stock management systems would be advantageous.
- Counterbalance FLT licence desirable but not essential.
- A proactive approach with a strong customer service mindset.
