Warehouse Operative

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring that orders are picked and packed, ready for delivery to our customers. They champion customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the criticality of meeting delivery timeframes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
  • Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
  • Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharges
  • Verifying stock quantities against computer systems
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly within allocated bin locations

Working hours: An average of 41 hours per week (Monday to Friday), including alternate Saturday work.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of customer service excellence and deadline-oriented work
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Desirable: Knowledge of car parts and automotive industry preferred (not essential)
