Warehouse Operative
Location: Waltham Cross
Salary: £27,742 per annum
Shift:
- 5 over 7 shift pattern (including weekends)
- 40 hours per week
- Shift Times: 13:30 – 22:00
⚠️ This role is based in a chilled warehouse environment (3–5°C).

What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Manual Handling & Machinery Operation
- Picking goods weighing up to 25kg.
- Operating warehouse machinery (comprehensive training provided).
- Picking, Packing & Labelling
- Accurately picking, scanning, labelling, wrapping, and palletising goods.
- Stock Control
- Completing stock movement, rotation checks, and maintaining product availability.
- Quality & Waste Control
- Monitoring quality standards, reporting damaged/short items, and reducing waste while maximising productivity.
- Pallet Assembly
- Safely assembling products on pallets to prevent compression and damage.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, HACCP controls, legal requirements, and Company policies.
- Clean as You Go
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Security Awareness
- Upholding Company security policies and reporting suspected incidents.
- General Duties
- Performing additional warehouse operative tasks as required.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be central to our operations. Ideal candidates will exhibit:

- Experience or Willingness to Learn:
- While previous warehouse experience is a bonus, it’s not essential—full training provided.
