Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operatives – Huel Contract (Wellingborough Site, NN8 6XX)

Location Our Wellingborough site (NN8 6XX) is now seeking Warehouse Operatives to support the Huel contract on a permanent, full-time basis.

Roles & Hours

Available shifts (all are 37.5–40 hrs):

  • Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00 (AM shift)
  • Monday–Friday, 14:00–22:00 (PM shift)
  • Tuesday–Friday, 06:00–14:00 + Saturday, 09:00–17:00 (rotating AM + Saturday coverage)

Pay & Benefits

Competitive Pay

  • AM shift: £13.12 per hour
  • PM shift: £14.23 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Daily tasks include:

  • Picking, packing, and replenishing stock
  • Pallet stacking and cage marshalling
  • Rework/co-packing, hygiene checks, and 5S/continuous improvement processes
  • Operating WMS system DLx (via RF devices, Pro Glove, and Pick-to-Light systems)
  • Managingitems from 2kg–20kg with prolonged standing (8-hour shifts) and manual handling

Requirements & Preference

  • MHE licenses (e.g. PPT, Reach Truck, Counterbalance Forklift) hold an advantage
  • Essential:
    • Excellent IT skills
    • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems (preferably Red Prairie)
  • Flexibility to rotate between tasks while meeting performance targets
