Location: YO26, near Wetherby, North Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour + benefits

Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

About the Company

Terzetto Stone and Porcelain are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team at our head office and warehouse location near Wetherby, in North Yorkshire. We import natural stone and porcelain tiles and other products from around the world and we have five retail showrooms across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Operating forklift trucks and ensuring safe handling of goods
  • Picking, packing, and quality checking orders to maintain high standards
  • Receiving and inspecting container deliveries for quality control
  • Fabricating stone and conducting sample cutting using wet cutter equipment
  • Assisting with exhibition setups and delivering small customer orders
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, including waste management
  • Adhering to security protocols and safety procedures
  • Providing support for stock takes and covering for colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse experience
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
  • Forklift truck license preferable
  • Ability to handle heavy goods in a physically demanding role
