Warehouse Operative (Dayshift)

Shift

  • 4 on, 4 off, Dayshift

Salary

£13.80 per hour – £14.97 (after training) per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative who thrives in a friendly, non-hierarchical, customer-focused environment, driving high performance and safe operations aligned with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Warehouse & Logistics processes, including:
    • Despatch, Intake & Decant procedures (per current SOP)
    • Use of FOPS (Forklift Operator Performance Standard), WMS, OCM & Hand Scanners to meet performance standards
    • Accurate completion of all paperwork to audit standards
    • Maintenance of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance
  • Implementation of ‘clean as you go’ policies
  • Conducting MHE (Mobile Handling Equipment) checks pre-operational use
  • Flexible approach to job rotation, including unit-specific tasks
  • Willingness to embrace training to enhance customer service
  • Performance of any additional requested tasks (subject to training)

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Strong writing and speaking proficiency in English
  • Basic numeracy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow simple instructions
  • Experience working in highly effective teams (preferably within warehouse/logistics)
  • Previous warehouse hierarchy experience beneficial
