Warehouse Operative (Dayshift)

£13.80 per hour – £14.97 (after training) per hour

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative who thrives in a friendly, non-hierarchical, customer-focused environment, driving high performance and safe operations aligned with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Warehouse & Logistics processes, including:
- Despatch, Intake & Decant procedures (per current SOP)
- Use of FOPS (Forklift Operator Performance Standard), WMS, OCM & Hand Scanners to meet performance standards
- Accurate completion of all paperwork to audit standards
- Maintenance of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance
- Implementation of ‘clean as you go’ policies
- Conducting MHE (Mobile Handling Equipment) checks pre-operational use
- Flexible approach to job rotation, including unit-specific tasks
- Willingness to embrace training to enhance customer service
- Performance of any additional requested tasks (subject to training)

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Strong writing and speaking proficiency in English
- Basic numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow simple instructions
- Experience working in highly effective teams (preferably within warehouse/logistics)
- Previous warehouse hierarchy experience beneficial
