Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative (Export Operations) – Lutterworth
About the Opportunity
Avantor is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to support Export Operations, handling the transport and delivery of chemical goods via air, road, and sea freight to a global customer base.
This is a full-time position based at our Lutterworth site, where you will join a small but dynamic export operations warehouse team. If you’re a flexible team player with experience in picking, packing, shipment management, and stock control, this role is for you!
The Team
This role falls within a busy team of 4 warehouse operatives, contributing to efficient logistics operations.
What We’re Looking For
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in picking & packing, goods-out, and dispatch
- Familiarity with stock control procedures
- Strong organisation skills to manage operational workflows
- Numeracy and literacy to handle documentation and records accurately
- Ability to meet physical demands (e.g., lifting, moving heavy equipment)
- Strong self-motivation and self-starting attitude
- Rapidly adapts to varying tasks while maintaining quality standards -raina position flexibility regarding shifts/weekends where necessary for smooth operation
- A positive attitude (teamwork and an upbeat personality go a long way)
- An Fully Loaded Truck (FLT) counterbalance license is highly desirable though not mandatory.
