Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative
At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked, packed, and delivered to customers on time. They champion customer service by efficiently coordinating warehouse stock and understanding the criticality of delivery timeframes.
Main Duties Include
- Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
- Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
- Verifying stock quantities against inventory systems and ensuring stock is stored in allocated bin locations
Working hours: 41 (average) hours per week (Monday–Friday), including alternate Saturday shifts
About You
Key Requirements
- A track record in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills
- Efficiency with attention to detail
- Understanding of customer service and deadlines
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry (desirable)
