Warehouse Operative - Colchester, Essex
Are you looking for a full-time warehouse role with consistent weekday hours and weekly pay? We're recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy DIY and hardware distribution warehouse in Colchester, Essex.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for an ongoing temporary position with an established business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking and packing a wide range of DIY and hardware products accurately against work orders
- Preparing boxes of various sizes for warehouse operations
- Unloading incoming deliveries (this role involves some heavy lifting)
- Assisting with dispatch, including preparing pallets for outgoing deliveries
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times

What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience
- Good attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow picking lists and work orders
- Strong communication and basic literacy skills
- A reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- A good level of physical fitness due to manual handling duties

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
- £12.71 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Holiday pay accrued
