Multi-Task Warehouse Operative
A vacancy has arisen for a Multi-Task Warehouse Operative based at Donnington, Telford. This critical role involves reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader and performing driving and warehouse duties.
You will work as part of an effective and efficient team, providing logistics support to the contract while driving operational performance and ensuring strict compliance with all company standards.
The Purpose of the Airworthiness Warehouse Operative Role
The purpose of the Airworthiness Warehouse Operative role is to undertake a range of warehouse activities to meet required standards. Warehouse Operatives report directly to a Team Leader.
How You Create Impact
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work
- Adhere to QSHE and Compliance guidelines and regulations
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents (NMSC) within the workplace
- Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC modules/WI
- Undertake duties for the following roles in line with formal training; Fire Marshall/First Aider/MHFA/MHE observation (circle as required)
- Report stock reconciliation issues found to Team Leader within 30 minutes
- Maintain NSN/SKU attributes including product labelling
- Fully support Kuehne-Nagel policy for agile working and actively transfer between work areas when required
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems to meet operational requirements for individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy
- Respond constructively to customer and internal department requests
- Provide accurate individual productivity performance measurement figures e.g. daily activity tracker

What We Would Like You to Bring
- Experience of working to agreed targets
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at work
- Intermediate PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding warehouse practices e.g. receipting, picking, loading
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
- Reliable and committed to attending work on contracted hours plus flexibility hours
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum of SC clearance
