Job Details
- Position: Warehouse Operative (AM Shift)
- Company: Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited
- Location: Cencora Service Centre, Newcastle
- Working hours: 25 hours per week
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 10:00–15:00, Sunday 08:00–13:00, Saturday off, 1 rotation day off
- Salary: £12.96 per hour
- Part-time role
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Warehouse Operative to join our pharmaceutical supply chain team. Working at Cencora, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions company, you’ll play a critical role in servicing millions of patients across the United Kingdom, ensuring the integrity of medical supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish the Automat system
- Pick and pack orders on the manual picking belt, including bulk, fridge, and secure areas
- Carry out transport and routing tasks, ensuring completed orders reach their destination efficiently
Physical requirements: Due to the nature of the role, you must be capable of standing and walking for long periods, as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with Health and Safety standards.

Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good visual accuracy and numeracy skills
- Committed to maintaining a hazard-free, world-class health and safety environment
Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or material handling.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent
- Knowledge of:
- Fleet operations administration and transportation support
- Warehouse operations (receiving, storage, order prep, shipment processing, inventory movement)
- Logistics documentation and transaction controls
- Warehouse/transportation systems for status updates, tracking, and transaction processing
- Loss prevention, material handling, and operational control
- Ability to:
- Process routine and moderately complex operational activities
- Resolve routine operational issues, analyze data
- Maintain accurate operational records -Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts on operational matters
