Warehouse Operative - Parts Plus Centre (Basildon)
Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Warehouse Operative to join our Parts Plus Centre in Basildon. You will be responsible for:
- Picking and packing orders for trade delivery
- Replenishing stock
- Processing returns
This position is offered on a 47.5-hour week:
- Monday – Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday AM’s
- Annual salary: £31,393
- Reports to the Centre Manager

Required Experience
The ideal candidate will have: ✔ Previous warehouse experience within the automotive industry ✔ Experience with the Kerridge system
Key Attributes:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Experience of working in a busy environment
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages
- MS Office proficiency

Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Warehouse Operative, you must:
- Work effectively on your own and as part of a team
- Demonstrate efficiency and commitment to meet performance targets
- Sort and place items on storage racks and shelves
- Collect items and prepare/complete orders for delivery
- Perform inventory controls via scanner
- Maintain accurate and careful records of stock
