Warehouse Operative - Chorley (PR7 3JP) - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Telent’s Logistics team is currently hiring for a Warehouse Operative due to an increase in workload. Based at our Chorley depot, this role will support the delivery of warehouse logistics and material management, ensuring accurate and timely support to operational teams and customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Receive deliveries of goods and check for damage or discrepancies
  • Store, locate, and manage stock accurately within the warehouse
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch to field teams
  • Maintain accurate stock records using inventory systems
  • Support stock control activities including inventory checks
  • Load goods for dispatch and coordinate transportation and deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and yard environment

Who you are:

You are a reliable and hardworking individual with experience in a warehouse environment. You have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of health and safety practices, and can work both independently and as part of a team. You are organised, proactive, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience using inventory control systems
  • Manual handling experience and good physical fitness
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Forklift Counterbalance Licence (advantageous but not essential)
