Location: Castlewood CDC, Castlewood Business Park, South Normanton, NG17 1JF
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days over 7, including weekends) Shift times: 6am – 2pm
Salary: £12.89 – £14.83 hourly rate (£12.89/hr base rate, + £1.94/hr weekend shift allowance) plus great benefits
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
We’re seeking Warehouse Operatives to work at our Castlewood depot. This is an introduction-friendly role—no experience is required, as all training is provided. It comes with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
This is an active role focused on daily targets, ideal for those who enjoy physical activity while earning. Pick-up and movement tasks will keep you engaged!
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, your key duties will include:
- Picking and packing stock for retail orders, handling:
- Frozen
- Chilled
- Ambient products
- (Using appropriate manual handling equipment)
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with cages and pallets
- Distributing products to their correct storage locations in the warehouse
- Collaborating within a team to drive and achieve key performance targets
