- Flexible Working: Any 5 shifts from 7 (Monday–Sunday: 06:00 AM – 14:40 PM, 40 hours per week)
About the Role
Location: Grantham Company: Brakes – part of Sysco, the world’s leading foodservice company – is a top UK food business committed to excellence across the country.
Join our growing team in Grantham as a Warehouse Operative and propel your career forward. This role is the heart of our distribution operations, offering variety and variety in everything from picking, packing, stock management, and ensuring accuracy in customer orders while complying with health and food safety regulations.
Yourwarehouse team is supported by a friendly admin team, ensuring every order is processed efficiently.
Your Responsibilities
Our Warehouse Operatives are the backbone of our multi-temperature warehouse. You will:
- Pick, pack, and process high-quality customer orders.
- Replenish stock and load lorries.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to support processes.
- Follow health and food safety protocols strictly.

Requirements
To perform this role successfully and thrive at Brakes, you:
- Have a good eye for detail and accuracy.
- Enjoy teamwork and contributing to a collaborative environment.
- Possess basic language skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.
- Are comfortable working in cold environments.
- Can lift up to 25kg.
