Great Notley, Braintree, Essex

Salary: £27,742 pa (£13.34 per hour)

Hours: 6am – 3pm (5 over 7 shift pattern including weekends, 40 hours per week).

Reynolds Food Group are thrilled to announce that we have opened our new facility in Braintree and are looking for energetic, reliable Warehouse staff to join our small dynamic team. This is a new Ambient / Freezer facility and we are looking for an exceptional Counterbalance forklift driver operative to start ASAP.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse (ambient & frozen).
  • Assist in minimising and monitoring specific areas of waste, maximising service, productivity and always providing availability of products.
  • Ensure all stock is used in accordance with the Company Stock rotation process.
  • Picking, packing, labelling, scanning, wrapping and palletising of customer orders accurately.
  • Assemble products on a pallet in a safe manner, avoiding compression and damage whilst building up the pallet correctly.
  • Contribute to providing an efficient, friendly service always to create and maintain a customer-focused environment and ensure that all queries are dealt with efficiently and politely.
  • Report any shorts or damaged products.
  • Completion of relevant paperwork.
  • Comply with all legalities, Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental policies.
  • Follow internal procedures in relation to temperature controls.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of your work area by applying the Company ‘Clean as you go’ policy at all times.
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of the team.
  • Always adhere to The Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Other Warehouse Operative duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in your application for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience.

  • Ideally would have previous experience of working in a frozen/chilled environment.
  • Counterbalance Forklift licence would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, on own incentive and within a team with high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working within a chilled/frozen environment.
  • Flexible approach and self-motivated.
