Your Mission at Voi
For the Position as a Warehouse Operative/Driver - (Fleet Specialist)
For the position as a Warehouse Operative/Driver - (Fleet Specialist), you'll have the possibility of working in two different areas, depending on workload and suitability. We have our mechanical team, where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles. This means keeping our scooters in top shape and provide strong support to our team on the ground. We also have our In field team, where you'll be utilising our vans to perform different tasks in the Cambridge area, making sure our operations runs as efficiently as possible. Here are some exciting tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:
- Ensuring the logistics of collecting and providing Voi scooters⚙️
- Searching for and collecting damaged scooters 🛴
- Battery replacement🔋
- Performing quick on-site repairs of the scooters🔧
- Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles🔧
- Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired ♻️
- Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse🔍
- Supporting our on-site team as needed, whether it's identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles🤝

- Mandatory requirement – Driving licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences, to meet our e-van insurance requirements. Licence checks will be conducted during the recruitment process. As part of the role, you will be required to drive one of our company e-vans
- In-depth knowledge of your city and you’re used to driving in your city
- Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well together in a group
- Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team
- Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and OKR’s
- Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
- Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic…)
- You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role
Job Conditions
- Working shifts: 3 out of 7 (fixed shift pattern)
- Working hours: Early Shift (Part Time)
- Contract type: 6 months Fixed Term
